Synopsis

During the Fifth Republic, some politicians’ careers were made because of their commitment in the World War 2 Resistance, their family, a political legacy or decisions from the Paris elite. Mitterrand, Chirac, François Hollande and Michèle Alliot Marie linked their political faith to a Region: Aquitaine which became a Presidents’ land.
