Without news from her husband, seventy years old Rekia decides to leave her village in Kabylia. She crosses Algeria, France and the Parisian suburbs to bring Nour back to their village. But the man she finds in a home of former migrant workers has changed. Her hero, the veteran of the maquis, who had last visited the village four years ago, had become a foreigner.
